The gathering was then taken over by Mr. Sanjay Bansal, Chairman of DBGI, who highlighted the achievements and developments of the institute in the last five years and requested the attendees to be associated in near future. Recalling the old times, he also said in his address, “It gives me immense joy and contentment to see you all after so many years. There’s no greater pride than witnessing students settling down and doing well in their careers. I know, I may have been too harsh back in those days, but now that you have partially seen the real corporate world, you must have understood the reason I laid emphasis on discipline. I once again welcome you all to your own college and hope to see each one of you year after year at this campus.”

As the alumni appreciated the initiatives taken by DBGI for the wellbeing of students in terms of personality development and knowledge improvement, Ms. Damini Thapliyal from the class of 2015, added, “The credit for organizing this reunion goes to the faculty members, staff, and students. If today, we are doing well professionally as well personally, its all because of DBGI and our professors who showed us the right path, inculcated discipline, and shaped us for the future. The fact that DBGI has high educational standards, management, and staff, is all justified because it in-turn helps us in performing well academically and honing our skills.”

As the event proceeded, while talking about what makes DBGI so special, Mr. Abhishek Mishra from the class of 2016, said, “The professors, visiting faculty, management, and just about everyone makes this institute very special. Being an institute sought-after by students from across India, it gave me and many other students the opportunity to know and meet fellow-classmates as well as experts from different cities, with different areas of expertise, and this has left a great impact on me. It’s fair to say, the diverse culture embraced within the institute has shaped me to become who I am today.”

The students of the current batch then apprised the alumni about the activities and initiatives undertaken by them and requested their guidance on the same. The evening concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Aman Bansal, Managing Director of DBGI. His message to the alumni was, “I’d like to thank all the students for attending this meet and making it a grand success. We are here to help all our students, including alumni, at any point in time. Not just on alumni meets, but we would love to see the students who have passed out visiting the campus often, perhaps as an alum, expert or influencer to help and guide other students. I extend my best wishes and hope to see you all grow both professionally and personally.”
