The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is one of the core branches of the engineering. It has been playing an important role in producing technologist in this core branch of Engineering. It strives to be a Centre of Excellence in education, training and research, producing quality engineers and researchers. In this regards Department is continually to enhance knowledge and quality of the faculty and staff members, by upgrading and creating new laboratory facilities, acquire new equipment to keep update information with emerging technologies and rendering the best service to the society. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering come into being right from the inception of the institute i.e., in 2005 with the under-graduate programme. The department try to give his best to meet the objectives of achieving technical excellence in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering such as Energy Systems & Management, Instrumentation, Power Systems, Power Electronics and Drive Systems, Electrical Machines , Control System, Industrial Automation, Analog and Digital Electronics, Signal Processing, Microprocessor and Microcontrollers and other latest value-added technologies. The department has equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories to complement the theoretical coursework. All the faculty members of the department have been involved in various researches and projects in cutting-edge technologies which are reflected by the number of publications in many international journals and conferences. The department also provides extra classes for the students which help them in their different competitive exams and placements. Students from the department are placed in different PSUs, Defense Services, and Multinational Core/IT companies. A large number of students have opted to go for higher studies and obtained admissions in reputed institutions in India and abroad
