The Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department has excelled with a rapid pace of research and teaching. The research interests of the faculty members of the department include the wide area of fundamental aspects of Electronics and Communication Engineering. In addition to the well-prepared curriculum related laboratories, the Department has many state of the art facilities for assisting different projects and development in the embedded system, VLSI, RF Engineering, and wireless technology.
Our mission is to Imparting the knowledge of Electronics Applications to enable our students to meet the global requirements and challenges.
- Train the students with proper knowledge of basic semiconductor physics, a mathematical problem, and subjects facilitating them to get employment or practice postgraduate studies with a gratitude for lifelong learning.
- To prepare the students with problem-solving abilities, for example, analyze and create the sufficient practical skills where they express creativeness and modernization that would capable them to inculcate the state of the art multidisciplinary knowledge which is beneficial to the collective development.
- To inculcate the moral values, ethics, positive attitude and good interpersonal skills those felicitate them to succeed as a good leader as well as a good team member.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, established in 2005 since the inception of the college is one of the most dynamic department of the institute. We strive to train and empower our students who will make the world a better place by using electronics engineering principles, techniques and systems. The significant infrastructural design, well-equipped laboratories & hi-tech computers with high-speed internet facility with all qualified faculty members ensure world-class standard of education delivered from our department.
Electronics & Communication Engineering is a dynamic and exciting area that provides excellent career opportunities in various areas of technology. The department faculties are committed to teach our students the fundamental concepts and the latest trends via smart teaching and learning process. The students are also taught with critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they accommodate their future with confidence. In addition to classroom teaching, the students are guided and motivated to practically implement the principles learnt in classrooms through experimentations in the laboratories and through innovation centers on Robotics and Internet of Things.
Students are provided internship facility in organizations like BSNL, DRDO, and ECIL etc. The department conducts various workshops, expert talks and additional training programs on recent trends in Electronics and Communication Engineering in collaboration with industries for the benefit of faculty and students. The student projects are conducted in-house with the guidance of department faculty and industrial trainers.
Having undergone such a robust academic Programme under the supervision of highest quality faculty members, I am sure that all passing out students of the department are capable of visualizing, planning and developing big projects of commercial and research interests in their respective field of expertise.
