Dev Bhoomi Group of Institutions, Dehradun have had a strong start to the placement season with nearly 70% of its MBA, BSc and B. Tech students already placed with top organizations. A whopping 105 companies from different industry sectors have made their presence felt on the campus during the placement season. The number is expected to rise to 140 companies as the renowned educational institution aims to achieve the magic 100% figure before the end of the placement season.
Every year DBGI shapes technocrats, technical experts and management professionals, who are prepared for industry challenges and get lapped up by top recruiters. This year is no different as names like Jaro Education, JK Tyres, Vivo, TATA Motors, Decathlon Sports India Pvt. Ltd., Swiggy and Just Dial have recruited students from the campus for number of exciting roles. In a coup of sorts, Tech Mahindra hired 85 students on a single day placement that set the stage and a record for the power packed season.
The placement figures have given DBGI a lot to cheer about as it has upped the game from last year. It reflects the growing stature of the group and the eye-catching performance of its graduates. It is certainly visible in the 100% jump in the highest placement package offered to an MBA student this year. The figure stands at INR 12 LPA, which is on par with some of the top B Schools in the country. B. Tech batch is also basking in the attention showered by recruiters, with the highest placement package reaching INR 8 LPA.
