An Educational Excursion To Agra by Department of Architecture

ABOUT EVENT

Since India is a land of diverse cultures and religions, it often affected our architectural values, hence to study the Indian and Islamic Architecture , students of architecture and design will be taken on an educational excursion to Agra, to visit Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri.

Architectural awareness will be created with the help of this visit, hence will be helpful later on, for the designing in plane regions.

Students will be more aware about conservation, recreation and sustainable architecture.

Also the following aim will be covered….

AIM of the Events

  • To make students aware of the heritage and Islamic architecture in India.
  • To introduce the students about local material available.
  • To make students aware of traditional techniques adapted in traditional buildings
  • To make an introduction to vernacular and sustainable architecture.

To create an awareness about climatology and sustainability in regions.
