“Architecture of Waste Series – Chapter 2”

 A workshop where students will be taught to create art pieces from waste. As population and economies grew, people lived closer together in cities and towns and created more waste. While the world’s population rapidly expands, the need for architects’ engagement in the industrial and infrastructural realm becomes increasingly urgent.

The workshop where students shall be explained the need to follow the approach of Rethink, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Students shall be explained about the artistic and advantageous use of Waste materials generated at homes and environment.
AIM of the Events 

 

 1.       To introduce the students about the various waste materials generated and their creative uses.

2.       To explain the need of change in Construction with Waste generated at home and environment.

3.       To inculcate the practice of waste material management in the young minds who are going to be the creators of tomorrow.

4.       To promote green architecture practices.

5.       To popularize the use of waste materials which are cost effective and shall help in decreasing the growing load on the environment.
Content of the Event  Workshop on Reusing Stones by making architectural elements like Stone paper weights, stone art depicting messages, at the same time, promoting local material.
