The heart-throb of the young India, famous Indian rapper Raftaar, gave a live performance at Dev Bhoomi Group of Institutions on 23rd April, 2018.

The accomplished singer, who was earlier associated with the celebrated singer, Honey Singh, released his first single debut tape WTF- Witness The Future in 2013. Ever since, his success has seen an upward graph and he has represented India on various prestigious platforms. His song, “Swag Mera Desi” won him the BritAsia Award in the category of Best Urban Song of the Year 2014.
Raftaar was invited for the celebrity night of the college fest, PINAK, a seven day fest at DBGI, constituting the participation of students from all the departments and showcasing their talents.

He left the crowd mesmerized and grooving to the beats of his songs. He also played his role of a responsible citizen by motivating the crowd through his words of wisdom. Raftaar emphasized the need for promoting education to every sector of the society, which was a special message for the people who still demote girls in the society.

Some students even got an opportunity to have a one-to one session with the singer who left his crowd in awe. DBGI has always understood the need of entertainment and relaxation to maintain a balance in the academic life, and is hence the top group of institutes in Dehradun. After all, “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”.
