Dev Bhoomi Institute of Management Studies (DBIMS), top management college in Dehradun, arranged a 2 day workshop to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of its students on 9th and 10th March, 2018.
Dr. V.K. Arora, a leading resource person in entrepreneurial venturing and incubation, through his proficiency in managerial skills informed the students of management about the importance and relevance of entrepreneurial skill development in today’s corporate world.
He accentuated the career opportunities that awaits the students post their education. The prospects of developing a small scale business and start-ups were also underscored in the event. The basic knowledge of blue chip companies and an elaborative presentation on latest trends and methodologies in contemporary business like Seven P, Seven C and Six Sigm , along with practical orientation about share and stock market was also incorporated in the workshop. A demonstration on how an effectual team could contribute to the prosperity of the merchandise as a whole.
The students apprehended all these aspects from the workshop and planned to implement the same in their careers.
