VISIT TO FOREST RESEARCH INSTITUTE, DEHRADOON FOR ATTENDING INTERNATIONAL BIODIVERSTY CONGRESS

On 6^th October 2018 department of Food Technology and Microbiology visited to FRI, Dehradun for attending international congress on biodiversity.

Objective:

The objectives of the IBC-2018 are to:

• To develop interest towards protection of ecology and biodiversity at national and international platforms.
• The legal frameworks for protecting biodiversity; biodiversity for food, nutrition & health; biodiversity, climate change & planetary health; biodiversity crisis, biodiversity, ecosystems and ecosystem services; and biodiversity & knowledge systems.

Learning Outcome:

It was learnt that people from around the world are looking forward to build an Eco-friendly world and they are doing well with their research on different kind of species and how they evolved and diversified among the world and some of them were extinct and some of them are ready to extinct, which makes researchers to think and take care on conservation of endangered species.
