World Architecture Day:

The students of Bachelor of Architecture celebrated World Architecture Day on 1^st October, 2018, which falls on the first Monday of the month of October. The event was conducted on a departmental level, where students from both the batches of Dev Bhoomi School of Architecture, one of the top architecture colleges in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, participated in the dress designing competition.

The students were divided in teams of two, comprising of one senior and one junior. They were supposed to design a set of dress which could include head gear, accessories and footwear also, all with newspaper.

Along with being a fun-filled activity, the students also got acquainted with the concept of Anthropology by taking the dimensions of their team members and understanding the human scale and proportions through this exercise.

The students of Bachelor of Architecture came up with beautiful designs through this exercise. The winner for this activity was the team comprising Mansi Bitoliya from 2^nd year and Aashi Srivastava from 1^st year who designed a gown and a beautiful head gear for the model.
