8 Job Profile Job description :

1.       GET

Service engineers often visit client or remote location to resolve or perform maintenance functions. They assess, install and fix equipment or machinery. A service engineer usually performs many of the following tasks:

  1. Assembling equipments
  2. Diagnose the problems of home appliance/circuit/vehicle.
  3. Meeting with clients
  4. Follow safety procedures
  5. Testing equipment
  6. Training Junior Engineer
  7. Providing technical advice and answering queries from clients
  8.  Using specialist computer modeling software to produce designs electrical circuit
  9. Investigating and solving problems, e.g., electrical/electronic/ mechanical failures
  10. Working closely with suppliers
  11. Writing reports and documentation
  12. Supervising junior staff.

Being a service engineer you have to be specialize in basics of vehicles health checkup/knowledge about fundamentals of electrical/circuit design and also know how to check whether the machine is performing well.

  2. Analytical thinking (job requires analyzing information and using logic to address work related issues and problem)
