WORLD FOOD DAY
On the occasion of WORLD FOOD DAY, 16th Oct 2018, a fascinating program was organized by Department of FOOD TECHNOLOGY. The program was inaugurated by the honorable Director of DBIMS Dr. Amit Bhatt. The Lamp lightening ceremony was followed by Oath taking. The students and faculty members present in the seminar hall pledged not to waste food. Lots of activities were organized like face painting, Quiz competition, poster making, rangoli making etc. Students participated in the events very enthusiastically. They also prepared food stalls with the theme of food waste recycling. The competition was a huge success and the students of the college enjoyed the delicacies prepared by them. The prize distribution ceremony was held in the seminar hall of the DBIMS College where the students were encouraged and felt motivated for participating in the upcoming events. The program was a huge success for enlightening the students about food conservation and managing it wisely. The program was very well managed and organized by the FOOD TECH department of the college under the experienced guidance of faculties of various departments.
